Bryan is the beloved son of Allen (Nancy Knutson) Stendahl, Inver Grove Heights MN, and Sue (Roger) Theno, Woodbury MN. He leaves behind one sister, Lea Stendahl, East Hampton NY, one brother, Mark Stendahl, St. Petersburg FL, step-sister, Michelle Rivero, Woodbury MN, his faithful and beloved cat, Jake, and many more family members and friends.
A proud alumnus of Woodbury High School, Bryan's educational journey took him to Northwestern University, Evanston IL and later the American Musical and Dramatic Academy NYC. His passion for the performing arts was evident in his professional pursuits, as he graced the stages of live theatre and cruise lines as a professional singer, captivating audiences with his voice and charisma. His talents also found a home in the hospitality industry, where he spent many years contributing to major hotels across the country, leaving an indelible mark with his professionalism and warmth.
Bryan embraced life with zest and enthusiasm, sharing his love for
music and theater with everyone he met. While his hobbies and
interests were many and varied, they all reflected his vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication to bringing joy to others through music.
A celebration of Bryan's life will be held on September 23, 2026, 10:00 a.m. at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Drive,
Woodbury MN 55125. The gathering will begin at 10:00 a.m., service at 11:00 a.m., to be followed by a light lunch, during which time people are invited to share their remembrances of Bryan. Family, friends and all those whose lives he touched are invited to come together to honor his memory and share in the stories and laughter that Bryan inspired.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Bryan's honor to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, the American Heart Association or an animal shelter in your local area. Bryan's family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love, support and sympathy during this incredibly difficult time. As they cherish the memories of Bryan's laughter and love, they know he'll be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
