Carolaide S. Wolfe

April 14, 1936December 31, 2019

After courageously battling numerous health problems, Carolaide went home to be with her LORD on Tuesday, December 31, 2019.

She was preceded in death by parents, William Chesley Sr. and Ann Louise Swindle, brothers, William Chesley, Jr. and Conrad Tinson Swindle, sister, Georgeanna Swindle.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Ken; daughter Jennifer, sister-in-law, Betty Swindle, along with loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Upon marrying the love of her life, Carolaide settled into being a loving stay-at-home mother, and to a lesser extent, tireless political lobbyist. One of the first things Carolaide wanted for her married household was a piano, over and above even furniture! After joining her husband’s retirement in 2002, Carolaide filled her days with family and friends, traveling, and fine dining. She especially enjoyed reading her Bible and worshipping her LORD every Sunday.

Memorial Service, Saturday, January 11, 2020, at South Twin Cities Church of Christ (16120 Cedar Avenue, S. Rosemount, MN 55068). Visitation prior to services at the church from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Flowers are welcome; however, if you would like to make a donation in Carolaide’s memory, please address your contribution to the South Twin Cities Church of Christ, with the notation: “Carol’s Coins for Cameroon Children.”

Carol's daughter, Jennifer is one of my best friends. Not only was Jennifer my maid of honor, Carol sang "Sunrise, Sunset" as I walked down the aisle. I loved her voice and was so honored that she agreed to sing at my wedding.
