She is survived by husband Dennis Bostrom; son Paul (Kerry) Bostrom; granddaughters Reese and Zoey Bostrom; brother William "Bill" and (Marie) Norquist; nephews John (Alisa) Norquist, Nathan (Amy) Norquist; niece Sarah (Dave) Irwin and many cousins.
Cheryl was an active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cottage Grove. She was involved in bible studies, knitting prayer shawls and making banners with the banner team. She had a strong spiritual faith and trust in the Lord. Cheryl's pastimes were cross stitch, sewing, reading and doing puzzles. She also liked traveling with her husband and cousins. She liked downhill skiing, loved the outdoors and nature, Grand Marais and the shores of Lake Superior. She was an excellent cook and baker.
Cheryl received a BS in Elementary Education and taught 1st grade in the Apple Valley, Rosemont School District for 14 years and was a substitute teacher in South Washington School District for many years.
She married Dennis in 1980 and adopted our son, Paul from Korea in 1986. We have had a wonderful life together.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Open Casket Visitation from 9:00 - 9:30 AM and Closed Casket Visitation from 9:30 - 11:00 AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 7000 Hinton Ave S., Cottage Grove, MN 55016. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church.
Interment will be Monday, October 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Cemetery, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd NE, Minneapolis, MN.
