Peacefully, with family gathered together, passed away on August 5, 2012. Preceded in death by Daughter, Diane; and Sister, Gloria Mutchmor. Survived by Wife of 70 years, Shirley; Children, Ronald (Sally), Karen (Raymond Holloway Jr.), Bruce, Michael (friend, Laurie) & Timothy; 15 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; One Great-Great-Grandchild; and Brother, Donald Peterson. Clair played saxophone and clarinet for the Harry Given's band at the Prom Ballroom and was part of the MN University's band. Retired from Wagner and Son's Insurance Co. and active at the Cottage Grove VFW Little Red Barn. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM on Monday, August 13, 2012 at The Church of Guardian Angels, 8260 Hudson Blvd. N, Oakdale, with visitation at church one hour prior to the Mass. Private Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery following the luncheon.
