Passed away 7/23/2015. Survived by his wife of 58 years Gloria Washburn; children, David Washburn, Paul (Tresa) Washburn and Nancy Washburn; and grandsons, Nathan (Ashley) Washburn and Tyler Washburn. David’s passions in life were his family, faith and being an educator for 53 years. He also served in the United States Army during WWII. A celebration of his life will be held at 6:30 p.m. 7/27/15 at New Life Church (6758 Bailey Rd. Woodbury) visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Private family interment in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the New Life Academy.
