Delores M. Fitzgerald

Born on March 21, 1932, Delores was a cherished resident of Oakdale, Minnesota, having previously lived in Maplewood, Minnesota for 65 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Marie Lehmann; her husband, Martin L. Fitzgerald, Jr. (Larry); her brother, Leonard Lehmann; her sister, Lorraine Rogers; and her sons-in-law, Mike Stoffel and Doug Stoffel.

Delores is survived by her dedicated children: daughters Maureen Stoffel and Brenda Stoffel (supportive friend,Tim Segelstrom) and sons Lawrence M. Fitzgerald (Larry) and Scott (Amy) Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Jennifer and Brian Aspen, Matt and Emily Stoffel

Andrew and Liz Stoffel, James and Dana Stoffel (Jimmy)

Nicole Nadeau and William Barker- Fitzgerald (Billy).

She was adored by her great-grandchildren: Mason, Nolan, Wyatt, Brooks, Liam, Owen, Lucas, Blake, Landon, Alexis, Ayonna, Alaina, Damon, and her great-great-granddaughter Mariella. Her godchildren, Holly Slagle and Steve Lehmann, also held a special place in her heart.

A charter member of Woodbury Lutheran Church for 58 years, Delores will be sorely missed by her cherished church family, as well as many loving family members and friends.

The family extends their gratitude to the staff and residents of New Perspectives of Oakdale, and Hospice of the Midwest, for their care and support.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Woodbury Lutheran Church, located at 7380 Afton Road, Woodbury, MN 55125, on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Visitation will take place from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, with refreshments served, followed by a Celebration Service at 4:00 PM.

A private burial will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Woodbury Lutheran Church.
