Dennis Mark Filbin

Dennis was born in St. Paul, MN in 1941. Graduate of St. Paul Central High School in 1959. Dennis joined the U.S. Navy at 17 and served on the USS Intrepid aircraft carrier as a fighter jet engine mechanic. Dennis was a devoted husband to Melissa (Connolly) for 62 years, a proud and loving father to Michael, Timothy and Christopher and a cherished Grandpa to Veronica, Liam and Conor.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Philomene and Mark Filbin, and his sisters Judith and Kathleen.

Dennis is survived by his wife Melissa, sons Michael (Deborah), Timothy and Christopher (Angela); granddaughter Veronica; grandsons Liam and Conor; siblings Patricia, Joan and Mary and many beloved in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Dennis’s memory will live on through the countless lives he touched with his humor, warmth and generosity. Special thanks to the Nurses and Staff of M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN for their first class end of life care that allowed Dennis to pass with dignity and respect.

A celebration of life will be held at Wulff Funeral Home 2195 Woodlane Dr. Woodbury, MN 55125 Saturday May 23, 2026 from 12 Pm to 4Pm.
