Passed away on November 4, 2011 at his home surrounded by family and loved ones. Dennis was born September 13, 1948, in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of late Ernest & Tracy Roberts. He was one of four siblings; Kenny (Marcy), Larry (Carole), & Bruce (Steph). On October 21, 1967, he married the love of his life, Colleen Comer. Dennis served in the U.S. Navy as Boatswain from 1966-1971, he's a member of Disable American Veterans. Following his military service Dennis was with Miller Drywall for several years before eventually working as a rehab specialist for Dayton's Bluff for 21 years before his retirement in 2010. He is survived by wife, Colleen, his daughters Holly Roberts, Sandra (Bob) Hampton, and Tonya (Josh) Bushard; grandchildren Nick, Nic, Corey and Tyler, Alex, Zack and Zoe and great grandchild Gavin; mother-in-law Stella Comer (Charlie Erlitz); in-laws Kelly (Marci) Comer, Corrine (Denny) Schmidt and Cathy (Rick) Wallinder. Funeral Service 11:30 AM Monday, 11/7/11 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 9925 Bailey Road, Woodbury, MN. Visitation starting at 9:30 AM until time of service, casual attire.
