Thorpe Family, I am so sorry to find out that Dona had passed away. I truly enjoyed visiting with your Mom and Dad when I would be on "The Point" visiting my parents John & Tina who lived next door to them. My thoughts are with you. Judy Mergele

Dear Amy, Scott, and David,

I have fond memories of your Mom and your Dad, especially that they hosted Patricia and Kiki from Mexico, and Andree and I had a lot of fun that summer/summers hanging out with them, going to the State Fair, and taking them to the Mexican Village that they used to have (now not PC I suppose!). Your Mom always made us feel welcome in your home and I could tell she was quite the adventurer.

My condolences to you on your loss. We lost our Mom in 2012 and we still miss her. I hope you, too, have many good memories of your times together.

Your old neighbor from Flandrau Place, Therese Therrien

Sincere sympathy to Dona's family. She was the first volunteer coordinator at the Science Museum of Minnesota, and I was fortunate to follow in her footsteps at that time.
