Donald Joseph Jankowski

Preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Jankowski, parents Edward, Gwendolyn, sisters Genevieve, Graceann, father in-law Howard Ritter.

Survived by sons Jamie (Nora) and Jason; granddaughters Jordan and Jana, brother David (Kaye), mother-in-law Beryl, sisters-in-law Tanya (Bob), Robin (Greg), Julie; nieces and nephews.

Youngest of four children grew up in South St. Paul, MN he graduated from University Wisconsin River Falls and University of Minnesota. Don retired from Xcel Energy Information Technology Division. Don was known for his love of family, faith in God, his humor, philosophical questioning, and helping others. Don enjoyed attending church, bible studies, watching football and volleyball games, and wintering in Orange Beach, Alabama.

A visitation for Donald will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at The Grove United Methodist Church - Woodbury, 7465 Steepleview Rd, Woodbury, MN 55125. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 7465 Steepleview Rd, Woodbury, MN 55125. A committal service will occur Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 1800 Edgerton St, Saint Paul, MN 55117.
