I have many fond memories of Dorothy. She was one of the wonderful neighborhood moms that watched over this pack pre-teen of boys growing up in Cottage Grove. In 1969 when I was about 9 years old, Dorothy was our Den Mother for our Cub Scout Troop. She was so gracious and kind and I was always impressed with the crafts and treats she prepared for us every week. I thank God for blessing us with Dorothy.

We met Dorothy when we moved to James in 1964 and became good friends over the next 20 plus years. Our Mark became good friends with Marky Johnson who lived a couple blocks away. Dick and Dorothy met at a pig roast at our cabin after they both lost theirs spouses and that was the beginning. They spent part of their honeymoon with us at our Florida condo. Many happy memories. We will miss you Dorothy. Doris and Charlie Jacoby
