Edwin Arthur Griffiths

Edwin was born on September 14, 1929 to Eunice and Spencer Griffiths, in Judson Minnesota. He graduated from Lake Crystal High School. Edwin went on to the US Army before attending Dunwoody Technical College and earning his degree in Refrigeration. Edwin is preceded in death by his wife Ardella, parents Eunice and Spencer, his siblings Archie, Wilmer, Ardys, and Eleanor, and his son Richard and two grandchildren, Jack and Caity.

Edwin and Ardella were married April 23, 1971, and had a combined family of nine children, thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Edwin worked over 40 years at Coca Cola Bottling, in the maintenance dept. He retired at the early age of 58 and then went on to build a cabin on Middle Leaf Lake and spent their summers there. They later sold the lake place and spent their winter in Texas enjoying the warm winters and Summers at their townhome in Woodbury.

Edwin and Ardella loved fishing. They loved dancing at the ballroom as well.

Edwin was very involved in church and maintained lawns, grounds, and buildings as well as choir and fellowship.

He was a very firm but fair parent to us all and he will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Visitation one hour prior to service from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church, 1975 Saint Johns Drive, Woodbury, Minnesota 55129. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at church. Inurnment with Military Honors will follow the lunch at St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery, Woodbury, MN.
