Denise and Family:  We are now in Phoenix for the winter when we heard of Gene's passing. We have known Gene for many years, and always considered him one of the finest people we knew. Our hearts go out to all of you.

Dear Denise and  Family,     I was so saddened to hear of Gene's death.
  I was having such a hard time, because I learned a little bit  more about Gene  going to Lakeview and  sharing appointments around the same time period as Gene. Having Dr. Corey and seeing the gentleness  Gene came across with .  I'm sure this is so hard for you and the family.  Gene was and still is a person I looked up to going through chemotherapy. Gene is a gentle person and always appeared as positive as possible. I never wanted to go through my cancer treatments but had I not , I wouldn't  met the gentleness of Gene.  God has now let Gene become an Angel in Heaven . He's seeing all the friends and family that have passed away  in Heaven.  May God Bless you today as you go through  this next journey with Gene in Heaven.
