Born on August 27, 1931 to Charles and Marie Hueffmeier, and immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. She was married to Donald and was the epitome of the title, Homemaker. Evie was a fiercely dedicated Mom to her children, raising all five of them to instill the value that family comes first. She was the strong and beloved center that we all gravitated around. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.
Evie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Warren "Sonny", Charles "Bud", Richard "Red", Harold "Jim", and sisters: Eleanor Geiger and Lucille Skrukrud.
She is survived by her children: Steve (Pat), Mike (Linda), Lori, Ken (Pam), and Judi (Chuck) Jents. She will also be missed by sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as the many friends and neighbors who called her "Mom" or "Grandma".
With her penchant for feeding anyone coming through her door, and in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Evelyn's name to Feed My Starving Children.
A visitation will be held at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home (2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury, MN) on Wednesday, 1/26/2022 from 9:30AM to 11:30AM with a committal service following at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 2:00PM - Assembly Area #2.
