Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 13, 2017.
Born and raised in Groton, SD. Enlisted in Army in 1941 and served in Army Air Corp during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gail.
George will be deeply missed by his children, Janet (Digger Dan) Alderson, Greg (Gloria) Sperry, and Dana (Mary) Sperry; grandchildren, Todd Williams, Kayla and Kimberly Sperry, and Naomi Sperry; and great-grandson, Kayden.
Memorial Service will be Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 11am with visitation one hour prior at Woodbury United Methodist Church, 7465 Steepleview Rd, Woodbury. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
