Passed away on February 3, 2012. He retired after 40+ years with Burlington-Northern Railroad and was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church in St. Paul. Harold was an avid gardener. He is survived by his brother Richard (Carol) Piepgras of Woodbury; sister-in-law, Theresa Piepgras of St. Paul; 16 nieces & nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his brothers, William & Robert and sisters, Dorothy Peck & Ruth Turnquist. A funeral service will be held for Harold at 11 AM on Wednesday, Feb 8 at St. John Lutheran Church, 765 Margaret St., St. Paul. Visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow in Elmhurst Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the church.
