Of Woodbury
Born and raised in St. Cloud, MN, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 23, 2015. She graduated as an RN from St. Cloud Hospital Nursing School. Irene and her husband, Richard, traveled with the military, finally settling back in Minnesota to raise her family. She retired from HealthEast St. John’s Hospital. In her retirement she and Richard wintered in Florida and traveled extensively throughout the world. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; one sister; and two brothers. Irene is survived by her daughters, Janet Anderson, Gail Anderson, Cheryl Anderson, Nance (Ray) Lyons, and Kathy Anderson; grandchildren, Lauren, Garrett, Leanore, and Blake; and sister, Margaret Melich. Visitation Monday, Sept. 28 from 5-7 at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior at St. Ambrose of Woodbury Catholic Community, 4125 Woodbury Dr., Woodbury.
