Jacob John Jordan, Sr.

Entered the arms of Jesus on Dec. 15, 2015. Jacob was born August 25, 1924 in St. Paul and served in the Navy and was a WWII veteran. Jake had fun farming! For years the farm had hay/sleigh rides. He drove the fire pumper in parades, sold vegetables at the farm and at St. Paul Farmer's Market, was involved in the Mounted Patrol, and loved to joke with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia. She was dearly missed by him since her death in March. He was preceded in death by parents Jacob and Elizabeth, one brother and one sister. He is survived by children, Kathy (Joe) Deshler, Nancy, Jake (Joan), Dan (Vicki); 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A viewing will take place from 3-7 PM Friday, Dec. 18 at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury. The funeral will take place Saturday, Dec. 19 at 11 AM with a visitation from 9-11 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 Hudson Blvd., Oakdale. Interment will follow the service at Guardian Angels Catholic Cemetery.
