She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Michael Gardner Gibbons; children Michael Bryant (Kristen), Kathryn Nash (Andrew), and David Gibbons (Bekah); and grandchildren Isaac, Abigail, Charles, Lincoln, Calvin, Lilly, James, Elsie, and Oliver. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Gene Bryant.
One of fifteen siblings, Jean was known for her passionate devotion to Jesus, deep care for her family, and her ability to make everyone feel welcomed and cherished.
