

Jeffry Lynn Johnson, 75, of Maplewood, Minnesota, passed away on August 20, 2026. Born May 13, 1951, Jeffry’s life was marked by devoted service, steady faith, and a deep commitment to family and community.
Jeff grew up in Woodbury, Minnesota, and graduated from Park Senior High school in 1969. He dedicated his life to the Lord Jesus on July 4, 1972, in California. He continued his education at North Central Bible College and later at the Assembly's of God Graduate School (MO), earning a Masters in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Ministries—preparation that would shape the work he was called to do and the many lives he would touch.
Jeff played a key role at Camp Zion/Zion Christian Center. He then served as a Pastor at Harvest Assembly of God in St. Paul. In addition, Jeff worked in real estate with his wife, Justyna, building their life together with shared purpose and dedication.
Jeff married his beloved wife, Justyna, in 1974, and they were married for 52 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Elmer Johnson and Mae Jacobsen, son; Luke, brothers; Ron Mooney, and Gary Johnson, sisters; Bonnie (John) Arrigoni, and Sheila Deegan, and son-in-law; John Sanxter.
He is survived by his beloved wife; Justyna, daughter; Bethany Sanxter, grandchildren; Peter Justin, Andrew Levi, and Rebekah Sue, brother; Randall (Cindilee) Johnson, as well as many nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
A skilled guitarist, Jeff consistently offered his musical gift in service to others and to the community. He was also deeply gifted in teaching the Bible, and was known for his steadfast love of the Lord and the Bible and his unwavering faith—qualities that remained constant throughout his life and will be remembered with gratitude by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at River of God Church, 2490 7th Ave E. North St. Paul, MN 55109, on September 12, 2026 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers or memorials, a donation to Union Gospel Mission or MN Teen Challenge is preferred.
