So many memories of miles traveled together! It all started with Christmas Market in Germany with MaryJane. We three had great fun and it continued from there maybe 1997, i'ld guess. Dave's History Tours won't be the same. Sorry we didn't get to visit one last time. Rest In Peace, Judy

When I first moved to Woodbury Jewel was one of the first neighbors I met. She cheerfully welcomes me. We spoke almost every day when she was on her walks. I adopted Jewel as a friend and will miss her wit, her zest for life, and her cheering me on as I remodeled my house and landscaping. Always a friend!

Miss You Jewel,

Dear Jewel, The fact that you are gone just won't sink in. It hardly seems real. It seems impossible. You were such a strong and generous caretaker for so many others, like Gary, Josephine, and Anne, to name but three. We were so sure you would pull through the chemo, and were looking forward to many more years together--- and so certain you'd put this behind you and make your way to Puerto Vallarta as soon as you could. So glad you made it to Whiz Bang Days and The Lexington this summer. There's so much more to say. But, we thought we'd post a few pictures for the time being. We miss you. Love, Paul & Tim

Jewel, I never thought that you would leave so soon. You were a true friend, and I will always remember your humor and kindness .Maureen D

We didn't expect to lose you so soon, Jewel. I will always remember your calm demeanor, sense of humor and kindness. Being a younger cousin, I will never forget a visit you made when you were dating Gary, and I was just a kid, but you had the cutest high heels and because you were so petite, I asked if I could try them on, and of course, you let me. They fit me! I couldn't believe it! I thought it was so cool, but Jewel knew that someday I would probably have big feet! :) Oh well, yes -- lots of fun memories of family picnics and our "Julia's Gems" reunions. I know we had so many more stories to share and am sorry we will not have that opportunity now. My sympathy to Ronnie and family. Love and miss you Jewel -- your cousin, Janel.
