Passed away September 18, 2012 due to complications of A.L.S. He was a Pipefitter with Local Union 455 for 36 years. He was well known as a dedicated tradesman toting an impressive skill set. John was an avid hunter, crafty fisherman and a sailboarding extraordinaire. He loved games of all make and model, known as “The Wall” to fellow underwater hockey enthusiasts. John was a devoted husband and an incredible father. His record of shelling out unconditional love, SPOTLESS! John is preceded in death by his sister Susan Shaw. Survived by his wife, Mary; daughters, Jackie & Jenny; parents, Leonard & Gerane; brothers, Mark (Val) & Keith (Kathy); brother-in-law, John Shaw; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & dear friends. Funeral service will be 10AM Saturday, 9/22/12, at Woodbury Lutheran Church, 7380 Afton Road, Woodbury. Visitation 4-8PM Friday at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Drive, Woodbury and 1 hour prior to service at the church. Private interment at Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to A.L.S. in John’s memory.
