Born on March 11, 1978, in Denver, Colorado, Zach lived a life marked by love, curiosity, and resilience.
Zach dedicated much of his professional career to the field of IT services engineering. He contributed his expertise to esteemed organizations such as PDI Ninth House, Ameriprise Financial, and Thomson Reuters. His work reflected his passion for understanding how things function and his drive to solve complex problems.
A man of deep personal faith, Zach found comfort in knowing he would one day be with Jesus. His spiritual beliefs provided him with strength throughout his journey. Despite living with Cystic Fibrosis, Zach embraced life fully and refused to let challenges define him. He lived at an accelerated pace, achieving personal and professional milestones while cherishing special moments with those he loved.
Zach was a devoted husband to his wife Tara and a loving father to their son Phoenix. His family was the center of his world, and he adored Phoenix above all else. He also leaves behind his parents, John and Kathy Jordan; his sister Beth Rooney (Ben); and his brother David Jordan. Zach’s love for animals was evident in the way they gravitated toward him, sensing the kindness in his heart.
Known for his ever-changing hobbies and insatiable curiosity, Zach loved learning new skills and exploring how things worked. Throughout his life, he was known to take things apart and put them back together just to see how they worked. He was a late-night philosopher who cherished long conversations that stretched into the early hours of the morning. These moments of reflection and connection were emblematic of his thoughtful nature.
In recent years, Zach considered himself retired—a testament to the full life he had already lived. Though taken too soon, he experienced everything he had hoped for: a loving family, a fulfilling career, and countless memories made with those who mattered most.
May Zach’s memory bring comfort to all who knew him and inspire others to live with the same passion and determination that defined his remarkable life.
