My dad, Ray Mosio had a few Best friends, and was lucky to have Joe be one of them. As a kid, I would see dad and Joe get together, and always walk off as if to tell some deep dark secrets. It never failed....they would always return laughing! Gee, how I always wished I would be invited. As I grew older I realized what some of those " jokes" were about. They should have written a book! You will be greatly miss Joe.

Joe, there is something about you... your quick wit, your awesome dance moves, your jokes, your fashion sense - WOW, your cooking and baking - nothing will ever compare; and so much more.  You welcomed me into the family 41 years ago and always made me feel like a daughter, not a daughter-in-law.  Thank you for being the wise, reasonable voice for so many years.  I love you and I will miss you.

A wonderful Grandpa, always enjoyed hearing his stories from the Navy and loved to spend time fishing with him. 

Joe was certainly one of a kind..... he was there on my first day at 3M, back in 1974.  Always gave me guidance and advice....and helped coordinate the purchase on my first suit to visit customers, (lord knows where he ordered it from, we never asked :)) .  
A true "survivor" and always a great one to laugh and talk with.  
I'm sure a terrible loss for Gloria and his entire family, but I'm also sure the memories will never fade.     

We went to visit him and aunt glo at their cabin. He said we, jen and I, had to try his meatballs. While we were enjoying, jen stretched which is done by putting both arms behind her back and reaching back. Uncle J saw and his eyes immediately grew twice the size in amazement. We all laughed really hard at his expression and continued to enjoy his meatballs.

JD had shared with me how proud he was for having worked on the moon landing project and the seals that 3M( his group) had developed for the spaceship.

My former father-in-law. What a great man. I always enjoyed spending time with him.

A  fashionista like no other,  he didn't set the bar, he was the bar. The louder the color the better.

Survived by his Wife of 50 years, Gloria M. Keating; Sons, Joseph D. (Doug) Keating Jr. (Pam), Stephen K. Keating (Vicki); Sister, Mercedes Delores Yarusso; Stepdaughters, Cheryl Anstett (Patrick), Debra Feltman; Stepson, Gregory Engfer; 8 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren.
