Passed away January 1, 2013 after surgical complications. Jo was born in Nash County, NC and the oldest daughter of Arthur and Pearl Bone. During WWII she was a member of the USO. She settled in Davenport with her former husband, Werner Dohrmann. Jo was a member of Newcomb Presbyterian Church and worked as a nursing assistant at Genesis (formerly Mercy) Hospital. Jo enjoyed dancing, singing, gardening, reading, the ocean, and going barefoot. She will remain in the hearts of her five children: Marcia, Keith, Denise, Dennis (Shari), and Deanna (Brian); five grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Matt, Alex, Nick, and Katy; sister, Katherine Balschi of PA; and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents; four siblings: Leaston, George, Randolph, and Elizabeth. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 5 at Lakewood Memorial Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave S, Minneapolis with Visitation 1/2 hr prior. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to HealthEast Hospice or to donor's choosing.
