Judith Anne Kealy

She was preceded in death by her son, Richard McIntyre; her mother, Marion Schmig (née Kealy); her stepfather, Clarence Schmig; her biological father, Salven Jannette; and her brother, Dennis Dahlman.

Judith is survived by her children: Anthony (Ginger) McIntyre, Denice Clemons, Julianna Buchholz, Alan Clemons, and Jeffrey Clemons; the father of her children, Haskell 'Buddy' Clemons, and her companion, Christopher Habein, and her siblings, Linda (Rick) Whalen, Mark (Connie) Polsfuss, Tim (Sue) Schmig, Clarence (Pam) Schmig, and Richard (Loni) Schmig. Her beautiful legacy also lives on through her fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Judith was a proud alumna of Mechanic Arts High School, where she participated in choir and developed a lifelong love of dancing and ice skating. She later earned her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and worked in several skilled nursing facilities, caring for others with the compassion that came so naturally to her. She went on to work in the Labor and Delivery department at Midway Hospital before transitioning to a customer service position at Sico Inc., where she was a dedicated member of Teamsters Local 970.

Judith held a profound love and appreciation for her country. She was an accomplished cook, an enthusiastic gardener, and talented in crocheting, knitting, and many other crafts. She found tremendous joy in entertaining family and friends and loved filling her home with good food, laughter, and conversation.

Her homemade treats were always eagerly anticipated, especially her renowned Christmas confections. Judith’s cooking was treasured by those fortunate enough to sit at her table, with her spaghetti and gumbo holding a particularly special place in the hearts of her family. Her creativity extended far beyond the kitchen. She lovingly made and gifted countless crocheted, knitted, and handcrafted creations to family and friends, each one carrying a little piece of her heart.

Above all else, family was paramount to Judith. Yet her definition of family reached far beyond bloodlines. Friends who entered her life were welcomed, loved, and treated as family. She possessed a deep compassion and empathy for those who were less fortunate and gave generously of what she had, always doing what she could to make sure no one felt forgotten, went without, or had to face life alone.

Judith will be remembered for her jovial spirit and her remarkable ability to find joy in life. She could bring laughter and warmth into a room, but she was also spirited, resilient, courageous, and fearless. Life did not always come easily, but Judith possessed a strength that carried her through its challenges and allowed her to continue loving, giving, laughing, and living fully.

She embraced adventure and had a special appreciation for the outdoors. Judith enjoyed traveling and made many treasured memories throughout the Dakotas, Wyoming, Montana, and Oregon. Her adventures also included a memorable cruise to several islands. She loved fishing and seemed to possess a special kind of luck whenever competition was involved, whether in sports, games, or a friendly challenge with family and friends.

Judith leaves behind far more than memories. She leaves behind generations of family shaped by her love, countless people touched by her generosity, handmade treasures created by her own hands, stories that will continue to bring smiles and laughter, and a legacy of strength, compassion, hospitality, and love.

Though she will be deeply missed, the love Judith gave so freely will continue to live in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

May she rest in God’s eternal peace, forever cherished, forever loved, and forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Drive, Woodbury, MN 55125, US, on September 22, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home at 11:00 am.

A Committal Service will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, 2101 Lexington Ave S, Mendota Heights, MN 55120, US, on September 22, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
