Lawrence Gerard Oster

Larry was born on October 14, 1930 in St. Paul, MN. He was a longtime employee of J.L. Shiely Company, and proudly served his country in the US Army. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 49

He was preceded in death by infant son; parents, Lawrence and Justine; loving wife of 55 years, Lillian Mae; and 11 siblings.

Larry is survived by his children Gregory (Denise), Gary (Nancy), Steven (Trish), Kevin (Kris), John (Deb), and Debbie; grandchildren Joe (Jill), Nick (Lacy), Matt (Nicole), Will (Katie), Larry (Amanda), Neil (Katie), Stephanie (Klayton), Haley (Cole), Lindsey (Joe), and Derek (Desirae); 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; sisters Anita and Tina; and numerous extended family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 749 6th Ave. at 8th St., South St. Paul, with a visitation one hour prior. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights.
