She was born on January 3, 1958 in St. Paul, MN to Joseph and Helen Contreras.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Bob, Frank, Louie, Fred, and Charlie.
Lucy is survived by husband Antonio Banuelos Sr.; children Antonio Banuelos Jr. and Rosaura "Becky" Banuelos; her siblings Teddy Shields and Joe (Melanie) Contreras; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 11 am at Wulff Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Drive in Woodbury, MN, with a visitation one hour prior.
The family wishes to thank Regions Hospital and The Estates at Roseville for care they showed to Lucy.
