OBITUARY

Mark Allen Steineck

February 2, 1954 – September 7, 2025
Obituary of Mark Allen Steineck
IN THE CARE OF

Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home

Mark passed away peacefully at home after facing health challenges for many years. He will be remembered by many for his kind heart, quick humor, and creative spirit. His bravery and resilience became a quiet inspiration to his family and friends.

A man of deep curiosity, Mark was endlessly fascinated by history. Exploring the complexities of medieval Europe, the unfolding of American events, or the role of religion through the ages.

Mark was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and enjoyed a long career as a Facilities Designer at Aero Systems Engineering.

He loved the creative arts and performing. Over the years Mark enjoyed Finnish folk dancing, performing in community theater, reading historical books and pursuing numerous artistic projects. He was a founding member, singer, and drummer in “The Booley Band”, an Irish folk music group.

Mark will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 40 years, Linda; his sons, Kirk (Angela) and Brody (Stephanie); and his two grandsons.

A Celebration of Mark’s life will be held on October 4th, 2025 from 3:00 to 6:00 at Kellerman’s Event Center, 2222 4th Street, White Bear Lake, MN.
