Marlene Evelyn Schindeldecker

Marlene married her husband John on May 5, 1956. He was the love of her life for 66 years until his passing 115 days before her on September 26, 2022. They raised three children: Deb (Butch) Hunter, Doug (Mary Owen) and David (Stephanie), and were blessed with seven grandchildren: Chris and Scott Hunter, Alex Schindeldecker, Kelly Burke, Karly Murphy, Brady and Chase Schindeldecker, and eight great-grandchildren. Marlene is also survived by her sister Carol Wildenauer.

Marlene was a lifelong member and served as church secretary at Emanuel/Crown of Life Lutheran Church. She also served as secretary at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in St. Paul and St. James Lutheran Church in West St. Paul. She always enjoyed being around her family and friends and loved her Lord above all else. We will always carry her memory in our hearts.

Memorial service at 11am on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Crown of Life Church, 115 Crusader Ave, West St. Paul with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Private interment at a later date.

The family is eternally grateful to Minnesota Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to both John and Marlene.
