Passed peacefully, October 28, 2011 Preceded in death by her parents, Alfred J. and Eugenia Meinke. Survived by loving husband of 53 years, Donald; children, Ehrich L., Esq., Kenneth M., M.D. (Marge), Douglas J. (Megan), brother Robert J. Meinke, PhD.; grandchildren, Evan, Zoe, Emily, & Lara; family friend, Wendy; and special Greyhound, Kelsey. Nancy attended University of Wyoming and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She also obtained a degree from St. Paul College in respiratory therapy, (Outstanding Student Award). She worked at Bethesda Hospital's long term care unit, 5 south as a registered respiratory therapist and part time at the Hudson, WI Hospital. Her joys were her family, cooking, friends, the "bridge group" hiking, biking, skiing, traveling, & reading. She was a gracious woman of wisdom well beyond her years, and her friends came to her for advice which was thoughtfully given. Her philosophy was nonjudgmental and remarkably sensitive to others needs. She was a very special person who made a positive difference in other's lives.
