I have worked with Pelumi and her lovely mother for almost 13-years. She was a fierce fighter who continued to grow and who dealt with so much in her young life. I am thankful for the excellent care she was given by her family and medical professionals. She will be so missed!

Dear Pelumi,
I will miss you my young lady.
I was honored to be Pelumi's teacher. When Pelumi held your hand and gave you her sweet smile all was well. My last visit with Pelumi was very dear and I will keep it in my heart.

Now Pelumi as your mother said you are in the bosom of Jesus. Y ou are now walking and leaping and praising God. We will meet again and I look forward to that. You will be able to tell me all the things that you were not able to tell me on earth. Until then dear girl you will be in my heart.

Pelumi was a bright, beautiful, carefree, feisty young lady, whom I will miss dearly. She taught me about perseverance and strength in ones self. God bless! My thoughts and prayers will be with all the family.

I had the pleasure of working with Pelumi, as an aide in her classroom. She brought a smile to my face everyday. She loved to try and sneak the markers and always loved to run around the track in the gym. She would always stop and look to see if we were close behind her. She would smile and then continue to run. Her smile melted my heart. A beautiful child gone far too soon.
