Pam was born on October 21, 1960 to Alan Sr. and Lois Horwath in St. Paul, MN.
After graduating from Siren High School in 1979, Pam joined 3M where she devoted 39 years of service. She was fiercely independent with a strong work ethic – usually being the first in and last out. She loved her work and made many life-long friendships over the years.
Pam spent most of her life in the twin-cities, but did a short stint in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she enjoyed her work in sales, as well as the warmer OK weather.
Pam was a warrior, having fought and survived a breast cancer diagnosis in 2006. Her favorite vacation spot was Las Vegas, where she visited several times – even coming out ahead on occasion! Recently, she enjoyed visits to the MN State Fair and trolly rides around Hudson, WI with her girlfriends.
It goes without saying that Pam’s shining light in life was her grandson, Aiden (10). During their many babysitting adventures, the two enjoyed trips to the Dollar Tree and dinner at their favorite quick stop, Subway.
Pam was predeceased by her parents, Alan and Lois. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Miles, son-in-law Aaron and grandson Aiden; sister Cheryl Heinecke, brother-in-law Jeff; brother Alan Horwath, sister-in-law Barb; nieces and nephews Sarah (Casey), Rachel (Justin), Martin (Megan), Monty and Kelly and many dear friends.
Plans for a celebration of life will be shared with family and friends in the weeks to come.
