Passed peacefully at St. Joe's Hospital on October 26th, 2011 due to complications as a result of open heart surgery. Paul was born and raised in Ohio, graduating from Hubbard High School. He received a BA from Calvary Bible College. He was one of three children born to the late Michael and Mary Gonder and was the beloved husband of Sandi Gonder for 45 years. Paul was preceeded in death by his brother Michael. He is survived by his children, Susan Leach (Mark), and Timothy (Camille), and treasured grandchildren Serena, Zachary and Cole Leach, and Ian, Chloe, and Josie Gonder; sister, Helen Davis. Paul loved many things especially fishing and watching Twins baseball. Paul touched the lives of many people with his sense of humor. Many will remember laughing along with his email journals and the stories of his past adventures. A GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS will be held SUNDAY, Oct. 30th from 10 am - 12 noon with SHARING of MEMORIES beginning at 11:00 AM. at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Drive, Woodbury MN 55125.
