Paulette Irene Bolden

Paulette Irene Bolden of Woodbury passed away on January 12, 2023. Preceded in death by parents Edwin and Vivian Peterson; sister Karen; and brother Dean. Survived by her loving husband Edward; brother John (Marilyn) of LeBelle, FL; stepson Dr. Jason Bolden (Yvette) of Charlotte, NC; stepdaughter Cortney Scheele (Vince) of Scandia, MN; and her grandchildren Jaiya, Nadia, Oliver, and Lincoln; as well as many nieces and nephews. Paulette was born in Sharon, ND graduating from Hope High School as the Valedictorian going on to graduate from Valley City State College in 1967. Paulette received her Master of Science degree from Bemidji State University in 1979. Paulette went on to serve her community as an elementary teacher in the Twin Cities in the South Washington County school district. She was a well-liked teacher who touched many children’s lives over the years. She loved her time with her family, friends and cherished every opportunity connecting with her grandchildren who loved Grandma Paulette dearly. She cherished her time with friends playing mahjongg or just meeting for coffee. Paulette enjoyed much of her time watching her favorite Minnesota sports teams with her husband over the years with fond memories of attending the Twins World Series Championships in 1987 and 1991. Paulette’s positive presence and loving support to her family and friend’s is already missed. Rest in peace Paulette, we love you! Gathering of Family and Friends will take place on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 12pm to 3pm at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
