Phyllis J. (nee Moberg) Clifford

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24th, 2015. She would have celebrated her 90th birthday on March 31st. She was born in St. Paul, daughter to Theodore & Helen (Kastner) Moberg and lived in West St. Paul, Battle Lake & Woodbury for the past 15 years. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Burt Clifford; and Brother & Sister-in-Law, Ted & Sylvia Moberg. She is survived by her Three Children, James (Sharon) Clifford, Diane (Dave) Staberg & Pamela (Ron) Kukacka; Nine Grandchildren, Jeff (Amber) Ingalls, Jessica (Ryan) Helm, Katie (Aaron) Zahorski, Sara (Ross) Randolph, Jennifer Clifford, Matthew (Velvet) Clifford, Becky (Jason) O’Leary, Mindy (Thiago) DeAraujo & Jake (Katie) Kukacka; and seventeen Great-Grandchildren.

Phyllis graduated from Humboldt High School & attended Macalester College. She retired from Twin City Federal, St. Paul office after 25 years of service. She spent many years enjoying their lake home on West Battle Lake & wintering in Mesa, AZ with her husband, Burt. Her favorite pastimes were quilting, playing Cribbage & Bridge. She loved playing shuffle board in AZ. Most recently she loved playing BINGO with the group at Oak Meadows Assisted Living.

A special Thank You goes to the caring, wonderful Staff at Oak Meadows and the Health East Hospice Staff who made our Mom comfortable. Each one of you is a gift from God.

Visitation is Saturday, March 28 from 10-11 AM with Memorial Service at 11 AM at Salem Lutheran Church, 11 West Bernard, West St. Paul. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
