Phyllis grew up in Iowa and graduated from Dordt College in Sioux Center with a degree in elementary education. She taught in WI, IL, and MN prior to her marriage to Jeff. She later taught at East St. Paul Lutheran School. Preceded in death by Parents, Bert & Martha Coeling. Survived by Husband, Jeff; Children, Derek (Autumn), Vanessa (Chris) McClure, Kyle; Sister, Marilyn (Roger) Peters; Mother-in-Law & Father-in-Law, Donald & Ardis; Sister-in-Law, Denise (Steve) Secrist; Three Great-Aunts & One Great-Uncle; Many Close Cousins and Friends. Celebration of Life on Thurs., 1/24, 1:30PM, at Woodbury Lutheran Church, 7380 Afton Rd., Woodbury, with visitation 1 hr. prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
