He was born March 17, 1949 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Phillip and Anna Wolf. They moved to Minnesota, where he lived most of his life and met and married his wife, Carol, on December 31, 1968. He served in the US Army, and then worked at the Ford Plant for 32 years until retirement. He loved working on his wood crafts and working in the yard.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Phillip; and sisters Anna and Helen.
Richard is survived by his wife, Carol; son John Wolf; daughter Rena (Marcelouse) Wiley; grandson Anthony Vande Moore; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A funeral service for Richard will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, with a visitation one hour prior. Following the funeral service will be an interment with military honors at 12:30 PM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 36th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN.
