With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of our beloved Rita, a beacon of love, compassion, and unwavering strength. She departed from this earthly realm on July 15, 2023, in Woodbury, Minnesota leaving behind a legacy that will forever inspire and touch our lives.

Rita was a remarkable mother, grandmother, great-grandmother selflessly pouring her heart into the lives of her children. Her love knew no bounds, and she nurtured her family with a tenderness that was unmatched. Her wisdom, guidance, and gentle spirit shaped each of her children, leaving an indelible imprint on their hearts.

As a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Rita radiated joy and warmth. She had an incredible gift for making each grandchild and great-grandchild feel like the most special person in the world. Her presence at family gatherings was a source of comfort and laughter, and her unconditional love enveloped everyone in her embrace.

Rita's bond with her siblings was unbreakable. Through life's ups and downs, they stood together, providing unwavering support and endless love. She cherished these relationships, treasuring every moment shared, and offering a listening ear and a compassionate heart.

Friendship was another cornerstone of Rita's life. Her kind and compassionate nature drew people towards her, and her circle of friends spanned generations. Rita had a remarkable ability to uplift others with her infectious laughter, empathetic ear, and words of encouragement. Her friendship was a beacon of light, guiding us through life's challenges and celebrating our victories.

Her culinary skills were legendary, and her kitchen was a sanctuary where love was transformed into nourishing meals. As we bid farewell to our beloved Rita, we find solace in the knowledge that she has found eternal peace, and her spirit will continue to guide and protect us. Rita is survived by her daughter Angela, grandson-in law Charles Jones, granddaughters Krystina Jones and Tiffany Reed. Great grandchildren Christian, Brooklyn, London, and Autumn Jones. Sisters Joyce, Carol, Francine, Marsha. Brothers William Jr, Manuel and Charles.

A memorial service for Rita will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Drive, Woodbury, Minnesota 55125.
