Steven was born on July 24, 1968 in St. Paul, Minnesota and spent most of his childhood summers with family at their cabin in Grove Lake, MN. He graduated from North St. Paul High School and then went onto vocational school at St. Paul Tech where he studied the trade of printing. In 1986 he met Kathleen through her sister and future brother-in-law. She was only 14 years old, little did he know at that time she would become the love of his life. In 1991, they reconnected and it all started from there. After only a 3-month dating period, it was known they were meant to be. They were married on October 2, 1993. They added to their home two wonderful children, Brianna and Alexander. He worked for Lofton Label Inc. for just over 30 years and decided it was enough and retired in December of 2019.
Steve was a member of the Maplewood North Lions Club since 1989, however, he always said that he was really a Lion since birth. This was due to his mom and dad being involved with the Lions Clubs International organization starting in 1964 and bringing him to many events, fundraisers, and conventions.
Throughout Steve’s life he enjoyed duck and deer hunting, however, he always had a passion for Corvettes. This led to him being surprised with a 2020 Corvette that he greatly enjoyed for the last couple of years.
Steve is preceded in death by parents, Patricia Ann and Richard Charles Dean and brother, Michael.
Survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Kathleen, children Brianna and Alexander, sister Mary Feikema (John), brothers Mark (Shelley), John (Carol), James (Alexa), Joseph (Debra), along with extended family and so many friends.
