I've recently seen the news piece on your sweet child. Yes, even now her story is still being told on TV. I am very saddened to hear about your loss and all the suffering you have been through. I have a child like her (though not as talented) and to lose her would be devastating. There are no words I can give that will take the pain away, but I hope in these few years and onward you can bear the pain and sorrow.
From the many losses of loved ones in my life I can only remind you that while your beautiful Tara's body has gone, her life and love continue and you will have eternity with her - never to be separated again one day. This life is less than a raindrop in the ocean. Dealing with the pain and loss is the worst thing in this life. But while you miss her every day, I'll give you a secret - she does not miss you. To miss someone is to be away from them. But she is never away from you, though you cannot see and speak to her like before.
May you all find peace and strength. Remember you will have a joyful reunion in the future.

Hello, my name is Suzie and I'm writing from Michigan and I just had to find a way to tell you that I saw Dateline about your beautiful daughter.
I am so sorry for your loss. I cried. What beautiful parents you both are. I want you to know that your tragic story has educated me now on synthetic drugs. My 17 year old son walked into the room as I watched Dateline. I could tell he was really paying attention as I filled him in him in on the story. I just wanted you to know that you've helped someone. Tara helped someone to be more aware I just needed to tell you this.Thank you for sharing your life with us. God Bless.
Rest in Peace Tara.

I’m praying God gives your family peace through everyday and in every moment that the Holy Spirit will give you great joy and comfort. Our God heals and loves your family and is there for you always. Lean on him for everything and he will sustain you. May God bless you.

I wasn't fortunate enough to know Tara (personally) but never have I been more saddened, heart-broken or distraught watching Dateline. I'm so deeply sorry for her friends & family. She seemed incredibly genuine (perhaps like a long-lost younger sister I would've loved to have...) wish I could've had a conversation with her while she was here... (appeared we had a lot in common.) Cannot think of someone who deserved that outcome less. She will forever be in my thoughts & prayers... just feels as though we need more young people like her in the world. & when people like her pass this young it makes believing "everything happens for a reason" or things like "God has a plan" difficult to accept. Always will feel spiritually connected to her...

My sweet Tara, we are now days past our first Holiday without you on earth. Your loved ones miss you so much, I know you know that but we now have to go through the next few days which will bring up a year without you in our lives. Please pray for your Mom, Dad and Caitlin and if anything is left over for the rest of us, we need them to try and figure out how we can get past this unspeakable sadness and try to live without you. You are so loved sweetie and never far from my mind. Auntie Mary
