

Preceded in death by Parents, James V. and Germaine T. Norton, survived by children Jenna (Jay) Wallin and Chad (Laura) Norton; grandchildren Ava, Adalyn, Alexa, Jack, Finn and Raeya; sisters Terry (Wayne) Johnson, Becky (Manni) Musngi, brothers Dan (Pam) Norton, Mike (Kim) Norton, Paul (Diane) Norton, and Chuck (Deb) Norton.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and kindness that will be cherished by all who knew him. Tom was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend; he was truly our rock. His love, guidance, and faith in God shaped the lives of his family, leaving an invaluable mark of selflessness and affection. A proud Marine, Tom served his country with honor and bravery. Following his military career, he dedicated 37 years to 3M, where he rose to the position of Operations Manager. Tom found joy in fishing, hunting, art, golf, and movies. He was an avid supporter of Minnesota sports teams and had a deep appreciation for music, including nearly 20 years of contributing to the family band, Mixed Bag, as a bassist, singer and manager. Above all, Tom will be remembered for his caring nature, unwavering devotion to his family, and his infectious sense of humor. His kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, leaving a profound impact that will be cherished for generations to come.

Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at St. Pascal Baylon Church, 1757 Conway Ave. St. Paul, MN at 10:30am. Visitation begins one hour before mass. Interment following mass at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
