To my beautiful sister I miss you today as much if not more than the day you left this earth.  It is a cold windy day today and it brings me back to our childhood days we shared as a family together in Canada.  The moon was so full and bright early this morning.  Mother would say when she looked at the moon it was you she saw.  How much I felt the comfort of that full bright moon this early morning.  I do feel the comfort of your spirit yet my heart misses you so  We were indeed a kindred spirit here on earth and now as well  I love you so.   Kimmy

Another year has passed.Missing you so much each and every day.80 inches of snow in Twin Cities that you would have so much enjoyed.It would not have slowed you down.Your kindness would still have been enjoyed by many.The winds continued to blow fresh air on the prairies of your homeland in Winnipeg.Your love of your  birthplace was so strong.Remembering your joy when you lived there and visited is implanted in many folks memories.

Another year passes and your presence was missed again each and every day .Your zest for life was so abundant.Snow at 80 inches this year would have been an ideal playground for you this year as you tooled around and enjoyed your gifts with those around you.The laugh, the concern and service for others,the joy you had for the simple pleasures of life are missed.

My precious baby sister ,Tracy who so enjoyed and celebrated life it is now 12 years since you went to heaven.
You are missed each and every day.

Your kind,zest for life spirit that you enjoyed so much and inspired so many remains abundant here on earth.The northly brisk winds from Winnipeg spread it throughout all the land.

I celebrated your God Child's 40th birthday,a day I thought you would be here for.  I remember choosing you.  We were sisters and sisters in Christ and he was my first born.  I felt you would be the one to always hold him up in prayer.  You fondly adored him as sweet when he lay in his little basket at Mom's ,when you first met him.  You often laughed , smiled, talked and asked about him.  I know you look down  from heaven and see his every step,  hear his every heartbeat and know his every earthly walk.  I know you walk with him daily and I thank you for that from a mother's heart .
 I loved sharing his life with you as we shared stories and watched him grow.

A decade has passed since the gift of you on earth left for heaven.Your spirit lives with your family,friends and all the others you helped along the way.The winds of Winnipeg and the prairies of Manitoba carry your kindness and spirit throughout the universe.You are always remembered and revered.


You are never far from our thoughts, always in our hearts. As each year passes, the ache remains.

I know what you are going through and unfortunately it does take time.  It has been 7 years since Anna May died in that horrible accident, although I am much better, I think about her and wonder what life would be like if it never happened.  

Paul, you have always been a strong person, but it is alright to cry, God knows I did my share of that.  I wish I were closer to help you, but one thing I found that helped me was a grief share group from church.  It gives you someone to talk with that is in your same position and believe me that helps!

Something my dad you to always say is "This to shall pass",  it will, hang in there!!

I was so sad to hear the news of Tracy's passing.The one thing that helps me through the sadness of losing such a great friend is that she is at peace, resting in the arms of Jesus. Tracy's office was right next to mine at the Veteran's Home and we had the opportunity for many laughs and talks. People often would mistake the sound of my footsteps walking quickly down the hall, for Tracy's footsteps. People would say....""Oh, I thought you were Chaplain Tracy." I miss the smell of popcorn in the hallway, the talks of our "new hairstyle" or the desire for a "new hairstyle" and the agreement we shared, "that coffee is good any time of the day." I have seen Tracy's love and compassion for the member's and the staff many times in the years I have known her. She was loved and she is missed but we will see her in heaven some beautiful day.
