I only met Victoria one time when she and Nick came to our cancer support group. She was full of grace and I will never forget her. I am so sorry.

Dear Nick, your Victoria was one of the most incredibly special people I've ever met. When she smiled, she smiled with her whole face, and one could not help but smile themselves. She had this indescribable radiance about her and that, along with her accent seemed to make ones worries disappear, if only for a moment. Everyone who enjoyed the privilege of knowing her were better human beings as a result. When we meet a person for the first time we have a tendency to forget that persons name. I can assure you that this was never the case with Victoria. She was the kind of daughter that every parent dreams of. She was the kind of friend that would be the only one that one would ever need. All of us are aware of the kind of mother and wife she was but none of us more than you. She touched our hearts and lifted our spirits even during the times we were trying to do the very same thing for her. Death may have the power to take from us, temporarily, the ones we hold dear, but there is one thing it can never take away: memories. These remain with you and strengthen you until you meet again. God bless you and your family

I offer sympathy to the family and friends of Victoria. Professionally, she was a great asset to her clients--knowledgeable, experienced, gentle and supportive. As a human being she brought sincerity and a caring heart. It was always a happy surprise to meet her when she walked with her children in the neighborhood. Those places will always be special. Eternal joy grant to her, loving God--and grant strength and peace to all who will miss her.

My sympathies to the family during this difficult time. The late Bob Hamilton and the Hayward Rotary Club greatly valued our connection to Victoria. She was the perfect example of the American dream.
