You were on my mind all day yesterday while I was refinishing the trim on my bedroom and alone with my thoughts.  It hasn't changed, Virginia, I miss your smile today as much as five years ago.  But, you'll be happy to know that Elise is 9-1/2 already and thriving.  She is definitely part of the technology generation and sends me texts and photos.  Henry had a check-up last week and is the healthiest 12-year-old pug his doctor has ever seen, and he's still your boyfriend.  Never forget that you are loved, missed, and thought of every day. Virginia, it's been three years since God gave you a new address, but I still wish I could drop in and see your smiling face.  You're loved!  Doug, Larry, and Henry the wonder pug.

Virginia, my dear friend, I hope you're looking down at us knowing that we miss you more than we could have imagined, especially today, your 71st birthday.  You will always be in our hearts just as you will always know you are loved.  Now put your feet up, grab the remote, click On Demand, and watch as many of the East Enders episodes we recorded as you would like.  We love you, girl!  Doug and Larry

Virginia was my friend and neighbor, and her loss was unexpected even after a half dozen close calls.  Virginia had a unique sense of humor and style; having grown up in the 60s, she considered herself an "old hippie."  Virginia loved her brother John (who she affectionately called Sam) and never quite overcame the loss of her sister Janet (who was her BFF long before the term best friend forever was invented).  Virginia was kind, caring, stubborn, generous, opinionated, occasional shopaholic (when Walgreens stock feel, we joked that she hadn't shopped there for six weeks), thoughtful, loving, and a good friend.  Virginia loved her brother John's children and grandchildren, and she kept up-to-date thanks to her sister-in-law Shari's Facebook postings while looking forward to buying gifts for the three newest members of her family.  Unfortunately, she entered the hospital two days before her scheduled shopping trip to Target and Sam's Woodbury (with a stop at Cost Cutters) and Walmart Cottage Grove.  Virginia has now taken her rightful place in heaven and is smiling, walking, eating, joking, and watching over us.  May God bless you and keep you for all eternity, my friend.

Virginia was my neighbor- at times she was an irritation- but - i loved her - she could make you smile, -we had more in common -than we had different. She was very-child-like and believed in miricles- and she loved snowmen ! she also loved lights - we both did- she had a number of Lava lights - we would sit and look at her lights together - i told her that one of the lava lights looked like it had poop floating in it - we laughed and laughed over that - i miss you Virginia Lawson - and will also smile thinking of you.
