

It is with profound sadness, yet deep gratitude for a life well lived, that we announce the passing of Warren Lee Langstraat, who entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on August 30, 2026, at the age of 78.
Warren was born on November 2, 1947, in Orange City, Iowa. He lived a life defined by strong Christian values, unwavering faith, hard work and integrity. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, respected leader, and faithful servant whose influence will be felt for generations.
Above all else, Warren's greatest joy was his family. He shared 58 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Mary Langstraat. Together they built, a life centered on faith, love, and service.
Warren deeply treasured time spent with his children and grandchildren. Whether fishing on the St. Croix River, making his famous pancakes, attending family gatherings, or simply sharing stories and laughter, he found immense joy in creating lasting memories with those he loved. He also found fulfillment in serving others through volunteer work at his church. Warren approached life with humility, generosity, and a servant's heart, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement.
Professionally, Warren dedicated 35 years to 3M, beginning his career as a chemist in 1969. Throughout his distinguished career, he held numerous leadership positions, including serving as Managing Director of 3M Netherlands for five years. He concluded his career in St. Paul before retiring in 2004. Warren earned the respect of colleagues around the world through his leadership, innovation, and commitment to excellence, leaving a lasting impact on the company and those privileged to work alongside him.
Warren is lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary Langstraat; his children, Brian (Jennifer), Kevin (Kirsten), and Heather (Rich); and his cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, Nathan, Nora, Kayla, Eli, Joe, Neal, Marnie (Joe), and Cooper. He is also survived by his brothers, Arnie (Diane), Harlan (Dorothy), and Vernon (Joey), along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were enriched by his example and kindness.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. in Crossroads Church, 5900 Woodbury Drive Woodbury MN 55129.
