Jeanne and to the family of Jeanne's Uncle,
My condolences on your loss. Jeanne spoke with great love and admiration of her Uncle. But I also know that he had been sick and in his passing he has been released from the pain and his spirit will live on.

Aunt Lan, Paul, Don & Tony,
Uncle Wayne was very special to me. I have vivid memories of when he came to this country when I was a 9th grader. Of course, when I met all of you after you got here, I was excited to have family because before you all arrived, my extended family was only my dad's parents, my grandparents. So, please know that I hold you all very dear to me in my heart, especially at this time. Your father was like a second father to me especially through my teenage years when my own father & I had difficulties. He was the one I counted on to help me, and he always did it lovingly and willingly. I will never forget the look on his face when he gave me away to marry Roger three years ago in May. I will treasure that memory forever. He was a good man, kind-hearted and tender-hearted. He was very easy-going and easy to get along with. He lived with an open heart to all in a strange country he came to know and appreciate. He was an exceptionally hard worker and I was proud to know that everyone in the restaurants liked him and respected him. I have many more memories that will keep me close to him in spirit. I am glad he is not suffering any longer, but miss hearing his voice. You will all be in my thoughts & prayers in the days, weeks and months to come. I'm always here if you ever need me. With abundant love to you all,

Uncle Wayne was a very special man... When I married his nephew Gary Young back in 1980 he and his family welcomed me with open arms. I was saddened to hear that the world lost such a great person. My prayers go out to his family. Please know I will never forget his kindness and that of his family as well....
