Preceded in death by his first Wife, Mary Alice Reinhardt (nee Anderson).
Bill served in the U.S. Navy starting in the V12 program at Iowa State University in 1944. He successfully founded Reinhardt Construction Company in Centralia, MO in 1955 and remained “Chief” until he retired. Bill was an exemplary member of Rotary International in Woodbury and Centralia, attended 38 international conventions, and served as District Governor for District 605. He was a man of strong faith and a devoted member of The United Methodist Church in MN and MO. As an avid alumnus of Iowa State University, civil engineering ’48, he twirled the baton leading the Cyclone Alumni band. He was a member of Shriners International, Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, NSPE, and was a model train enthusiast.
Bill will be deeply missed by Wife, Helen Fleming; Children, Curtis, Paul (Susan), Rebecca (Craig) Waller, Ruth Watkins; Grandchildren, Kirk, Laura and Sarah Waller, Ben, Shelby and Tucker Reinhardt, Olivia and Reed Watkins; Many Nieces, Nephews, extended Family and Friends.
Funeral Service Thursday, May 24, 11 AM with visitation one hour prior at The Grove United Methodist Church 7465 Steepleview Rd., Woodbury. Evening Visitation Wednesday, May 23, 5-7 PM at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rotary Foundation, rotary.org, 14280 Collections Center Dr. Chicago, IL 60693. Bill was committed to service organizations that helped people throughout the world and made an impact on everyone he befriended.
