Carmen was born in Tulare, California on May 11, 1945 to loving parents, Juan O’Campo Reynoso and Mercedes Reynoso. She was raised and educated in Woodlake. Carmen married Vicente Salcedo and they shared 38 years together.
She was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church for many years. Carmen loved and dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed family gatherings, listening to music and loved dancing (she was a great dancer). Carmen was a social butterfly and everywhere she went she was sure to make new friends, in which many of these became long-lasting friendships. She was a strong woman who overcame many obstacles in her life but her love of life and strong will helped her overcome them. She was a warrior.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Mercedes Reynoso; her husband, Vicente in October of 2011 and a sister MariaTrinidad Reynoso.
Carmen leaves to cherish her memory her children and grandchildren; Carmen M-Velazquez and husband, Fidel Velazquez and their children, Danny, James and Austin M. Velazquez. Their grandchildren are Daniel F., Dylan J., Adrian M., Delilah N. and Alexander M. Velazquez; Rita Franco and husband Jose Juan Franco and their children, Alondra M. , Isabella and Diego J. Franco; Juan Salcedo and wife Beatrice Salcedo and their children Isaac V. and John Marcus Salcedo; Guadalupe Frias and husband Abelino Frias and their children Anyssa Y., Yadira and Jessica L. Frias and Mercedes Diaz and husband, Jeronimo Diaz and their children Maritza S., Andrew and Alessandra M. Diaz and three sibling Damaso Reynoso, Jesse Reynoso and Alice Reynoso, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel in Woodlake on Monday, June 8, 2020 from 3 – 5 pm. Graveside services will he held on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Woodlake Public Cemetery District.
