Consuelo Meza Sahagun, a hard-working, sweet, and loving woman, passed away on October 17, 2025, in Visalia, California, at the age of 90. She was born on March 12, 1935, in Mexico to Monico Meza and Esperanza Rodriguez.
Consuelo was a dedicated worker, spending over 20 years as a grader at the Klink Citrus packing house. Her commitment and diligence were evident in her professional life as well as in her personal endeavors.
On April 6, 1956, Consuelo married Ramon Sahagun in Edinburg, Texas. Together, they raised a large, loving, devoutly catholic family. She was predeceased by her husband in 1994. As well as three of their children: Ramon Sahagun Jr, Maria Luisa Willis, and Yolanda Sahagun. Consuelo is survived by 7 of her children: Anna Maria Sadberry, Esperanza Romero, Maria de Jesus Rodriguez, Nora Castaneda, Heriberto Sahagun, Santiago Sahagun, and Jesse Sahagun. Her legacy continues through her 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Known as a mother to all, Consuelo was cherished for her nurturing spirit, having raised not only her own children but also caring for many others' babies.
A visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel Woodlake, located at 134 North Cypress Street, Woodlake, California, on November 6, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will take place on November 7, 2025, at 10:00 am at St Frances Cabrini, 199 North Pepper Street, Woodlake, California. Followed by a graveside service will be held at Woodlake Public Cemetery, 165 North Cypress Street, Woodlake, California, at 11:00 am.
Consuelo Meza Sahagun will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for her family and community.
